About Kalib Crone

I am a current 4th year student of Computer Game Design and Development at Kennesaw State Marietta Campus, previously known as Southern Polytechnic State University.
Ever since the first time I saw The Matrix as a young child, I have had a huge interest in everything computers and I even wanted to be a computer hacker for a longer time than I would like to admit. Of course when the notion of becoming a hacker became a bit less realistic, I moved on to an interest in creating applications to help or assist others. For instance, an app that would calculate grades, or keep track of your bills. I came to realize that many of my ideas had either already been taken, or could be done with a basic knowledge of Excel. This lead me to pursue game development.
I have always been interested in creating games, and even as a child I would draw out entire notebooks of player statistics and skill trees, and even board game prototypes, but it wasn't until my highschool programming class that I realized that my dream was not so far out of grasp. During my last year in high school, I created 4 games using a combination of XNA and GameMaker, and continued developing throughout the summer. Ever since, I have beeing pursuing my dream to become a video game developer.
